英検1級英作文：AIの可能性
2021年第1回の英検1級受験時に、英作文・面接対策として自分が書き溜めた原稿を公開しています。
Grammarlyに頼りつつ書いたもので、完全に独学で勉強していたため、不自然な表現や文法的に間違った英文が含まれている可能性もありますので、ご注意ご了承ください。
実績としては、本番は英作文・面接どちらもこのブログで公開している原稿から、使える部分を流用したような格好で解答を行いました。
得点もそれぞれ英作文が745/850で9割近い点数が獲れ, 面接は615/850と合格ギリギリの水準ですが、2分スピーチセクションであまりの緊張から10秒近く言葉が出てこなかった所から原稿の内容を駆使した決死の、華麗なる逆転劇があってのものですので、内容としてはまあ悪くない水準にあると思います。

Agree or disagree: AI can replace human workers.

Nowadays, there seems to be a global trend toward debating whether artificial intelligence(AI) will replace human workers.
Although some people argue that there is a limitation for AI to stand in for humans, personally, I think that AI can replace certain human jobs for the following three reasons.
Firstly, AI-equipped robots can perform work that deals with human beings. In fact, many Internet services are using AI chatbot that automatically answers customers’ question. It contributes to efficient operations even without relying on human resources.
Secondly, AI can process a huge amount of data more quickly and accurately than humans.
For example, AI-equipped autonomous cars can detect dangers on the road and avoid them automatically by using huge processed data. When the technology develops more, AI can replace drivers of taxies or tracks.
Finally, AI-equipped robots can perform dangerous tasks in any harsh environment.
For instance, AI-equipped robots actually perform jobs at some constructions of solar power plants in torrid climates. AI-equipped robots can perform jobs more efficiently than human workers who are susceptible to severe conditions.
In conclusion, for the above-mentioned three reasons, the abilities to handle human customers, processing a huge amount of data, and performing tasks in a strict environment, I believe that AI can replace human workers in certain fields.

昨今、人工知能（AI）が人間の労働者に取って代わるかどうかを議論する傾向が世界的に高まっているように見受けられます。
AIが人間の代わりになるには限界があるという意見もありますが、個人的には以下の3つの理由から、AIが人間のある種の仕事を代替することは可能だと考えています。
第一に、AIを搭載したロボットは、人間を相手にする仕事を行うことができます。
実際、多くのインターネットサービスでは、お客様の質問に自動的に答えるAIチャットボットが使われています。人手を介さない効率的な運用に貢献しています。
第二に、AIは膨大なデータを人間よりも迅速かつ正確に処理することができます。
例えば、AIを搭載した自律走行車は、膨大な処理データを利用して道路上の危険を検知し、自動的に回避することができます。さらに技術が発達すれば、タクシーやトラックの運転手をAIが代替することも可能です。
さらに、AIを搭載したロボットは、どんな過酷な環境下でも危険な作業を行うことができます。
例えば、太陽光発電所の建設では、厳しい気候の中でAIを搭載したロボットが実際に作業を行っています。AIを搭載したロボットは、厳しい環境に弱い人間の作業者よりも効率的に作業を行うことができます。
以上のように、人間の顧客に対応できること、膨大なデータを処理できること、厳しい環境でも仕事をこなせることから、特定の分野ではAIが人間に取って代わることができると考えています。
